This species originates from the Thai Island of Koh Samui a beautiful and small island to the south of Thailand. These ‘shrooms were typically served by the locals in a smoothie and given to backpackers who proceeded to dance all night at the legendary full moon beach parties.

This strain is on the smaller side. Stems typically thin with blue bruising at the base, caps round to flat with a light yellow/orange/brown color.

The Psilocybe cubensis Ecuador is one of the most popular species. Place of origin is the Ecuadorian Andean region, situated at 1000 metres altitude. This strain is considered to be one of the most powerful and largest of all cubensis varieties. The Ecuador usually produces large mushrooms with a long and sturdy stem.
